Mastering Keeping the Memory in ARC Raiders with U4N

Some missions in ARC Raiders Items are difficult because of powerful enemies or complicated objectives. Celeste’s “Keeping the Memory” quest is different. The actual task is very short, but players need to understand a special completion rule and know exactly where the hidden helmet is located. The mission takes place at Wreckage in Dam Battlegrounds and ends at a nearby memorial post.

The basic sequence is easy to remember once you have completed it once. Travel to the southeastern part of Dam Battlegrounds, locate the giant Baron ARC wreck, find the unusual bush near its legs, retrieve the helmet, and carry it to the memorial. The main challenge is making sure you do not get eliminated before the final interaction.

Reach Wreckage Safely

Your first objective is reaching Wreckage, located around Formicai Hills in the southeastern portion of Dam Battlegrounds. You can move toward the landmark immediately after deployment rather than spending time collecting unrelated resources.

A direct approach is generally the safest option. The mission does not ask you to bring valuable loot back to your base, so there is little reason to turn the trip into a long farming session. The faster you reach the quest area, the fewer opportunities there are for something unexpected to interrupt the run.

Recognize the Giant Machine

The main landmark at Wreckage is the enormous rust-covered shell of a Baron ARC. This giant mechanical wreck is associated with the First Wave and stands out clearly from the surrounding environment.

Once you locate the wreck, move toward its central area. The quest does not point you toward a conventional loot box. Instead, you need to inspect the ground near the machine's legs.

Search Around the ARC Legs

In front of the Baron ARC's legs, look for a small, unusual bush or fern. The plant is easy to overlook because it blends into the surrounding environment, but it contains the helmet needed for the mission.

Walk close to the plant and interact with it. The hidden helmet will fall onto the ground, allowing you to pick it up.

This is where the one-match requirement becomes especially important. If you are eliminated before completing the memorial interaction, the quest sequence must be performed again in another match.

Carry the Helmet Carefully

The helmet cannot be placed in your regular backpack. After interacting with it, your character physically carries it with both hands. This is similar to how larger objects are transported throughout the game.

While carrying it, avoid distractions. You do not need to search for more loot, explore nearby buildings, or start unnecessary fights. The memorial is very close, so moving directly toward it is usually the best option.

Place It at the Memorial

From the Baron ARC wreckage, turn toward the west. A memorial post is located just a few meters away. Depending on your approach, it may appear as an upright metal or wooden structure rising from the ground.

Carry the helmet to the post and activate the interaction. Once the helmet is placed on top, the mission is immediately considered complete.

This is the key point of the entire quest. The game records the successful completion after the placement, meaning you do not need to extract afterward for the objective to count.

Choose a Low-Cost Setup

A free basic loadout is particularly useful for this mission. Since the helmet is not an item that must be extracted, expensive equipment provides little additional benefit. Using basic gear means an unexpected death will not cost you important resources.

You should still pay attention to nearby ARC machines and other players. Carrying the helmet can make the final part of the run less flexible, so avoiding unnecessary encounters is preferable to looking for a fight.

Players interested in ARC Raiders Materials should also avoid turning this particular quest into a resource-gathering trip. The safest strategy is to focus only on the mission and leave once the objective has registered.

Know When the Mission Is Finished

The most useful information about “Keeping the Memory” is that successful extraction is not part of the final requirement. What matters is completing the entire sequence in one match and placing the helmet on the memorial.

With that in mind, the ideal run is simple: use a basic loadout, travel directly to Wreckage, interact with the hidden bush, carry the helmet west, and place it on the memorial. Once the completion message registers, the difficult part is over, even if the rest of your match does not go as planned.
