Where to Find Shards of Agony in Torment Difficulty

Shards of Agony drop exclusively in Torment difficulties (World Tier 4 and above) in Diablo 4, making high-level endgame progression essential before farming begins.
Primary Location: Grigoire
Head to the Hall of the Penitent in the eastern Dindai Flats region of Kehjistan to face Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint—this is the most reliable source. Summon him at the altar using 5 Living Steel (or 12 for his hoard in later seasons), earned from Helltide Tortured Gifts costing 300 Aberrant Cinders each, and only the altar activator receives the Shard drop. Grigoire appears at level 75+ in Torment I, with lightning attacks that demand resistance gear for efficient clears.
